Flyrchld lands a scrimshaw
Cripes, you bastards are clever. It took Flyrchld all of five minutes to solve the conundrum (in the previous entry): Nelson and JP Cooke aren't twins, yet they claim to have been born to the same mother, on the same day, at the same time, in the same year. How is this possible? Yeah, Nelson and JP are two of three triplets—born 59 seconds apart, and a few minutes later came another one. Or so Nelson says (let's hope he's making this up as just one of him's plenty). Honorable Mention goes to the wise Colonel Mustard and a Gold Starfish to Cascadia, who may not have won a scrimshaw today but whose exhaustive answer may still net a Nobel Prize. Congrats to Flyrchld, whose scrimshaw will be her second. In the meantime, here's a scrimshaw—Flarq's first ever in color—of the Cooke triplets' cousin Morgan and his pop Isaac, the main characters of my novel Pirates of Pensacola, which St. Martin's Press is printing up as we blog.
